B. Van Horn is a writer based in Portland, Oregon. Feeblebunny and the 24 Keys is his debut middle-grade novel.

Bret found his early influences in John Christopher’s Tripods trilogy, The Three Investigators series, Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle, and the requisite diet of Star Wars, The X-Files, and far too many Twilight Zone reruns.

He lives atop an extinct cinder cone volcano with his wife, alongside two large dogs, a basement cat, an abundance of gadgets and music gear, and at least one crow who seems to be keeping an eye on things outside.
